• Appearance: Deep purple color.
• Nose: Intense spicy aromas, highlighting black pepper, ripe cherries, blackberry, and mocha coffee.
• Palate: A very approachable wine, highly fruity and fresh; well-balanced with round tannins, good volume, and a long, pleasant finish.
• Food Pairing: Pairs perfectly with semi-mature cheeses such as Provolone or pepper-crusted cheeses. Ideal with grilled lamb or red meats seasoned with thyme, rosemary, or sage. Also a great match for spicy Oriental cuisine.
• Serving Temperature: 59–63 °F (15–17 °C).
